Grimalkin's Quill is an independent publication launched in March 2025 by Quinn Grimalkin. If you subscribe today, you'll get updates whenever xe writes a new post and has yet another opinion to shout into the abyss of the Internet.

Writing has been my main hobby since I was 13 winters of age. One day, it suddenly clicked that the stories I read and consumed like logs on the fire weren’t an exclusive art to those who weren’t me.

From then on, I couldn’t stop writing, I couldn’t stop looking at writing from the perspective of someone who wanted to learn and better their craft. I went to university and got my bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, with my minor in Classics to try to better understand my passion.

Will I ever be a perfect writer? I honestly hope not. The quest to learn more, adapt, grow, and evolve into something new is particularly what attracts me to writing as a hobby. There is no endpoint. Only the determination to burn brighter.
